Ladies and gentleman, here is the news you've all been waiting for! On Saturday, July 4 2020, Lil Dorothy, Purlin' J's yarntruck, is open for business!
Book your one-on-one shopping appointment with Purlin' J onboard the yarntruck. Appointments are 15 mins. each. $10 is required to book your spot, and will be deducted from your order.
The location is 550 Days Road in Kingston, Ontario (the parking lot of Stitch By Stitch).
Here are the essential details for you to know:
1) Shopping appointments are required on July 4 2020. Appointments are 15 mins. each.
The $10 fee you pay when booking is credited back to you at the point of sale onboard the yarntruck when you checkout.
2) Self-screen before visiting the yarntruck (i.e. please stay home if you have cold/flu symptoms). When you arrive at the truck, enter via the passenger side door. There is new signage directing you to this door. Hand sanitizer is available for your use. A new plexiglass barrier is now installed on the yarntruck for your and Purlin' J's safety. Avoid touching surfaces unnecessarily.
3) Stay in your vehicle for as long as possible, and please wear a mask. Practice physical distancing of at least 2 metres if you must wait for the previous customer to exit the truck.
4) Your shopping appointment begins with a consultation period. It's helpful to arrive with some details of the project(s) for which you are interested in purchasing yarn: pattern copy or name, needle sizes and length, yardage requirements, etc. Purlin' J will then select appropriate yarns onboard for your consideration, and help you complete your purchases.
5) Tap Debit/Credit is available and preferred.
